Hand cut, pierced and textured this brooch was inspired by the softly eroded pieces of flotsam washed up on the Jurassic Coast here in Devon.
A copper brooch with a soft slightly crackled 23.75ct gold leaf finish. The gently dished shape allows light to reflect softly over the soft matt surface giving a buttery glow to the gold finish. There is a protective lacquer finish on this brooch.
The fastening for this brooch is a single heavy sterling silver lapel stud pin and sprung catch. This pin is not suitable for delicate, light fabrics.
