A large and dramatic pair of shell earrings that frame the face. Hand cut, pierced and textured these earrings in bright sterling silver were inspired by the flotsam found during rambles along the Jurassic Coast here in Devon.  The hand applied texture is derived from heavily eroded oyster shells, much softer than the limpets that the shape is derived from. The studs are hand polished to a soft, water worn finish and, with a hand applied surface pattern, no two pairs in this series are the same. 

A sterling silver ear pin and butterfly catch completes the design. Limpet stud earrings are also available in several sizes and finishes.
