Eroded oyster shells on Budleigh Salterton beach, just down the river Otter from my workshop, are a constant source of inspiration. In this case, a light ring in sterling silver, created by hand carving the form in jeweller's wax from which a casting is created. This ring has been hand fettled and polished resulting in a soft, water worn finish.
