Dark Closed Limpet stud earrings - medium, pattern 3m
Hand cut, pierced and textured these earrings in dark patinated sterling silver were inspired by the shells washed up on the Jurassic Coast here in Devon. The hand applied texture is derived from the Echinoderm collection at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter and a 23.75ct gold leaf surface glistens inside the hollow centre.
The studs are hand polished to a soft, water worn finish and, with a hand applied surface pattern, no two pairs in this series are the same. A sterling silver ear pin and butterfly catch completes the design. The third image is for size reference and is this design textured in pattern 7.
