Hand cut, pierced and heavily textured, this necklace in dark patinated sterling silver was inspired by the broken shells washed up on the Jurassic Coast here in East Devon. The hand applied texture is derived from the Echinoderm collection at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter and a lacquered 23.75ct gold leaf surface inside the hollow centre.

The pendant is hand polished to a soft, water worn finish and is suspended on a lightweight triple oxidised sterling silver long trace link chain with a lobster catch. Surface patterns are hand applied and no two are the same.
