Fascinated by Texture
I design and create jewellery to make the wearer feel confident, express their own personality and to provide beautiful armour with which to challenge the world's indifference - tokens of love and talismans for modern, unique individuals.
Fascinated by texture and working materials by hand, I have a very varied jewellery practice that ranges from direct representations of Nature through to bold abstract patterns and forms in a wide range of materials and finishes. Undertaking research for an MA at Arts University Plymouth is offering me the opportunity to include porcelain and glass in my repertoire, and has opened up new colours to feed my designing.
